Salut everyone,
It is with great excitement that I can announce that our hunt application process is now closed. We have reached our expected number of participating stores! We'll have 30 stores in this hunt and I am sure you will have great fun visiting them all.
In the coming weeks, we'll be adding more information! Also, keep your eyes peeled for some future post activity highlighting various participating stores and shopkeepers.

Autumn Hunt is progressing
Salutations all,
I am so excited to announce that the Antique Grid Show: Autumn Hunt is progressing wonderfully! We'll surely have lots of excellent merchants and prizes in store for every hunter in nearly all possible genres within the antique umbrella!
As of today, we have 20 fantastic shops in the hunt! More are to come. A few shopkeepers have said they will join in, but have not yet submitted their application. But, no fear, the list will grow to include more wonderful shopkeepers and their stores! It is my belief that this hunt can and will really introduce re-introduce everyone, hunters and shopkeepers alike, to some brilliantly creative and elegant stores.
Merchants and bloggers, if you wish to participate as a vendor or official blogger, please contact Thaddeus Nadeau in-world. Thanks!
As we progress, I'll update this blog!

Antique Grid Show: Autumn Hunt
Salutations everyone!
With the changing of the seasons, we have a time of change in our lives and in our worlds. Since SecondLife is comprised of people from all over the real world, we all have our thoughts about what autumn, or fall, is like. For me, it is a time when the leaves begin to change from a spectrum of green to various hues of red, yellow, and orange. As the cooler air moves in, so do soft winds that help gently glide the leaves to the ground. The unfortunate thing is that we then need to rake them up! However, even that brings a warm feeling of autumn while we dress in a our long pants, knit sweaters, and warm coats to get out in the brisk air.
With this in mind, it seemed an ideal time to get past those holiday centric hunts and focus on the season itself. Focus on that time between the extreme heat of summer and the long, cold nights and days of winter.
Now that I have rambled on a bit about the seasonal purpose of this endeavor, allow me to explain the logistical and marketing purpose. In our vast virtual world, there are countless marketing groups and hunts going on at any one time. However, very few, if any, focus on the antique market niche of home and garden items and related period clothing. There is such a rich and brilliant group of designers in both furnishing and clothing that it is a shame there is not more avenues for awareness of their products and names. That's where Antique Grid Show steps in.
The goal is to produce a hunt this season that brings together brilliant designers of all areas of the antique markets: Victorian, Western, 18th century, Rococo, Edwardian, Steampunk antiques, Gothic antiques, 19t century, Art Deco, and 20th century. These are just some of the vast areas that can and will be covered. What we want to do is help introduce, or re-introduce some of those creative geniuses making items for you. This is also an exciting way for shopkeepers to become known to the various roleplay communities, historic admiration communities, and the average user wanting to deck their home or person in the beauty and grandeur of some period pieces.
So, if you are a designer of antique-related furniture, houses, clothing, jewelry, etc feel free to contact Thaddeus Nadeau about how you can participate in the forthcoming Autumn Hunt from November 1 -30!
